Class Project and Youtube journey
Class Project 001 was first published to YouTube on May 1st, 2008 garnering 800k+ views. "This felt like a big deal to me at the time because social media was not as personable back then but I the support was very overwhelming."
Prior to Class Project, iCKEST posted 'Dating Service' on July 2007 which is where the Class Project characters were first introduced. The 'Dating Service' video is a parody of how people used to find a love interest in the 90s prior to social media. But Class Project is where the views were really coming in. Being that Youtube was published in 2005, iCKEST reached considerable recognition around the island of Oahu. Many people would re-create the Here's Bigego parody along with reciting Class Project-isms like, 'oh sha!' and 'hello pipit!' as the character Pipito once said about his favorite cookies. The most recent of the series is Class Project 17, which was published late 2020 during the world wide shutdown. As far as what the future holds, Class Project will still continue with time.
